Background Strathmore and Company is a distinguished law firm specialising in maritime and corporate law, founded on a legacy of excellence and a commitment to client success. With a modern approach that integrates innovative design and user-friendly experiences, the firm navigates complex legal landscapes while maintaining the integrity and expertise that clients have come to rely on.

My mission for this project is to empower businesses with tailored legal solutions that reflect the evolving needs of the industry, ensuring a seamless partnership for every client, while giving it a UI facelift.

Reflection A key challenge that I faced from this project was breaking the mold of information overload, in finding a way to present content in a way that was both digestible and engaging. It was also through this project that i truly felt the importance of organisation. File management systems and information architecture is incredibly important, especially at the beginning of the project, where there are a lot of information and assets to sift through.

For future projects involving 'serious' industries, I would approach them by leveraging the Pareto Principle—focusing 80% on established and familiar strengths while introducing 20% of innovative or playful elements. The balance of serious and innovation would ensure that the design feels fresh while also respecting the client's traditional values, therefore turning familiarity into something of a strength rather than a limitation or creative restraint.
